I really wanted to buy it but also checked it out first. They should not be selling it until it is working.

The thing that bothers me the most is in the webinar they talk about the people that are successful using it and that can't be true. Everyone was having trouble getting a contest up and running from what I read.

It does have potential but I'm not buying at this time.

Thanks for making this post Scott, I was very interested in the product, but as with all things I like to research what I am buying.

Sounds like it has potential, and I would of loved to have used it on a personal project let alone using it clients. Shame it sounds like a case of 'too good to be true'.

I agree on that the website that they do have http://socialsalesengine.com/ has blank pages with pretty much nothing on them they have nothing on the site except for a login which is pretty much just the wordpress login page... they even lack a link to buy the product so unless you watched the webinar you have no way of knowing how to register or buy

Hey Jim, I agree ... I'm at a crossroads, I contacted Sam directly and wasn't exactly kind with words. He refunded all my money on the spot via PayPal ... I then got an email the next day from Robert offering a sincere apology.

I understand how things can come up that make it tough to handle something like this, and I have been ready to post the rest of my review, but I also don't want to end up black-listed in the IM community.

I have a tough decision to make here, my review could have a serious impact on their business, and part of me feels obligated to report what has happened so others can make a more informed choice whether of not to get involved.

Update to my previous post. Sam immediately responded to the PayPal dispute and I was sent my login information. The fear of losing money is a powerful motivator.

Actively uses social media but not SPAMMING it- check!
Is growing their business and making money with it- check!
Is using current online marketing/technology to “ATTRACT” people to them (as apposed to chasing people)- check!
Sends out cards regularly (i.e uses the products)- check!
Promotes the retail use of the cards (not just looking for opportunity sign ups)- check!

I've got a little side tracked too ... as a full time student, I have fallen a bit behind in some of my school work. I couldn't put it off any longer so I will be catching up the updates as soon as I can. I've been doing a little each day, laying the foundational ground work so to speak.

Rita ... TPRweb will be coming back online as a result of my new venture with SendOutCards too, it will be my way of attracting others who have similar interests. You'll love what I have in store ;-)

Scott, you are doing an awesome job. One of the biggest challenges I see when people make the decision to get started in a new venture is they never, really, ever get started. It takes time to get set up, to learn what you have your hands on, the tools available and all that stuff. It takes WORK and you are putting that in. Good for you. You'll do well.

Wow, Scott, had no idea what you were up to. I looked at SOC a year or so ago, but didn't get involved at that time. I LOVE sending cards, but it didn't fit with what I was doing.

And I'm impressed Melissa was able to help. Seems she's always full of good advice. Gotta love that gal!

I appreciate everyone's comments and my main purpose for posting a blog post such as this was to see WHO was paying attention in the social media sphere. I have worked far too many network marketing opportunities with the wrong people supporting me.

I want to be sure the person I have as my upline can help strengthen me and my plans, I'm tired of people who still think network marketing has to be done the old school way. While it works for them, it hasn't worked for me, and I just wanted to make sure I found someone with a similar mindset as I in regards to using 21 century online marketing.

Rob hit a home run when he responded and in his outreach to connect with me. He has exactly what I have been looking for.

Again, I appreciate the responses and as I get my feet moving towards my goal I will be happy and willing to help those who see the benefits to the new school way of marketing ;-)

You need to choose someone that will help YOU to achieve your individual goals, and give you the Coaching and Support you need. It's that simple.

Just get started - find someone and get going.

As far as getting (us) to pitch you on 'why we are the best' - you'll get all kinds of info from well meaning and well qualified distributors.

Just get started, and make it happen. The training from Corp. and all the available stuff from anyone Executive and above is Top Notch and readily accessible once you get started.

We wish you the best - we're having a BLAST and loving the system. Keep it simple and just get started.

Hope to see you at convention / on the beaches (we are going to Cancun) when you achieve it / earn it.
